Faculty of Management
The Faculty of Management (FOM), Tribhuvan University has its ultimate objective of educating students for professional pursuits in business, industry, and government. It is further dedicated to contributing for enhancing the knowledge and understanding of business and public administration. In this pursuit, FOM aims to develop net working with management institutes in the country and abroad to exchange new knowledge, technology and methods of higher level efficiency in management of business and public entities. It also aims continuously to innovate and promote cost effective, socially relevant, modern technology-based management educational programmes in Nepal.
The FOM offers instruction to Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Travel and Tourism Management (BTTM), Bachelor of Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Information Management (BIM), Post Graduate Diploma in Police Science (PGDPS), Master of Business Studies (MBS), Master of Business Administration (MBA)(proposed), Master of Public Administration (MPA), Master of Travel and Tourism Management (MTTM) and Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.). The FOM also offers doctoral program in management leading to a degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D).

Subject Committees
To look into the academic matters and activities regularly in terms of developing and updating curriculum as per the needs, there are nine Subject Committees with their defined areas. The subject committees are also involved in organizing seminars and workshops to disseminate new ideas, knowledge and pedagogies in order to make teaching learning meaningful. Faculty of Education
Faculty of Education is to produce trained teachers, education specialists, education planners, supervisors, curriculum designers and educational administrators.
The objectives of this Faculty are:
English Language Education, Nepali Language Education, Mathematics and Computer Science Education, Science Education, Health and Physical Education, Geography Education, History Education, Economics Education, Political Science Education etc are common specialization areas for PCL to M.Ed. levels, whereas under Vocational Education specialization, Business Education, Industrial Education and Home Science are offered up to B.Ed. level. Under General Education, Curriculum and Evaluation; and Educational Planning and Management are offered only at the M.Ed. level. Early Childhood Development, Primary Education and Information and Communication Technology education are offered only at the Bachelor’s level. Special Needs Education is offered only at one Year B. Ed. From the academic year 2065 -66 a new course on Population Education (V.S.) has been introduced at the M.Ed. level. Besides, one year Teacher Preparation Course for Non-Ed. PCL and Higher Secondary School graduates has also been introduced since 2066/067. There are also elective disciplinary areas. In order to devise, develop and review the academic courses from time to time there are different subject committees under FOE. At present there are 15 Subject Committees to cater for the academic activities in the concerned areas.

The basic objective of Faculty of Law is to produce mid and high level legal manpower to fulfil the demand in all sectors including in the legal profession and academics.
